In 2009, iSAM AG did not give any Christmas gifts to customers, business partners and employees. Instead, donations for children in need were contributed to two social institutions.

We support the Punj Charitable Trust, a non-profit organisation in Gujarat, India, that was founded in 1991. In the region of Daman the Trust does not only take care of impoverished old people but also of oppressed children in need of help. The Trust essentially provides humanitarian help as well as upbringing, education and professional training for the benefit of poor and disadvantaged children.

Furthermore, the ecclesiastical social welfare organisation Diakoniewerk Arbeit & Kultur in Mülheim an der Ruhr received a financial contribution for the Mülheimer Tafel. The Mülheimer Tafel supplies fresh fruit and bakery products to schools for a „Breakfast at School“ and so allows children who do not get breakfast before leaving home to learn without being hungry.
